Immune Function Stimulation

 How great is this!!

Love Thy Armpit (from freshmint@yogamint.com)

Make Your Immune System Smile – A Yogamint Classic

The armpit is more that just an aroma factory. There’s vital stuff tucked up there. Beneath the skin is the meeting place of the glandular system and the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems.

So when you’re in the shower, lather up and scrub, rubbing deeply in the armpit area; a thorough massage awakens these bodily systems, increasing awareness, energy, immune response, and circulation. While you’re at it, hum a tune, infusing your touch with a little love. Your body will thank you. For added benefit take a cold shower. It multiplies the effects exponentially

The Studio where I teach yoga from is called “Prema”.

Prema is a Sanskrit word which means “Love”.

The wiktionary from Transwiki describes it as follows:

Holy and pure love, devoid of egoism. It flows from the Anahata chakra.
